Honestly? I started this coaching journey thinking I had it all sorted. Good life, positive outlook, ready to help others.
What actually happened?
The training shifted something in me - I couldn't place it at first, and continued on with my day-to-day life like everything was normal. Slowly, I started to force myself to actually look at who I was, and you know what I found? I had no idea. I spent my entire life always being the "easy-going" one and choosing the path of least resistance, so I built a life that looked perfectly fine from the outside, but was not authentic to me.
It was a slow realization, but it was a doozey. I had to step back from coaching because I was struggling so hard and made some extremely difficult changes to start changing the trajectory of my life.
Now? Because I lived through the patterns - the people-pleasing, the self-abandonment, the perfectionism, the self-doubt, the emotional disassociation - this is what I help others shift.
By understanding the deeper conditioning underneath these patterns, through a blend of nervous system awareness, emotional processing, subconscious exploration, and reflective inner work, we begin unearthing the layers of who you’ve been taught to be.
This work isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about unearthing who you’ve always been beneath the conditioning, expectations, and survival patterns - and learning how to feel safe being that person.

I guide you through the science of your nervous system, subconscious patterns, and emotional responses so you can see why you think, feel, and behave the way you do. When you understand the patterns, it becomes easier to stop fighting yourself—and start working with yourself.
From there, we move into the deeper work of reconnecting with your emotions, your needs, and your sense of self. Instead of bypassing how you feel, you learn how to actually be with it, process it, and use it as information.
This creates a shift that isn’t about forcing change—it’s about uncovering what’s already there underneath the conditioning.

Everyone's got trauma's, right?
Hi, I'm Umeko. If handed a long list of experiences and situations that were traumatizing, I know everyone would have at least a few, if not a lot that they could check off.
Growing up, I was told many times how important reputations were, how long it takes to build them, and with one wrong turn, how quickly they can be broken. This concept was expressed with intensity, so I took on that responsibility with serious conviction. Additionally, I was brought up to never show weakness - when upset or hurt, don’t cry about it in front of others. I convinced myself that if I controlled everything on the outside, I could keep everything on the inside from falling apart. So, this is what I presented to the outside world: a permanently perfect appearing life.
Was this actually true?
Of course not. Only in my more recent years have I begun to be able to show or accept any kind of fault - to share hardships of mine with others. For so long, I couldn’t, because I shamed myself for any wrong-doing or mistake I made. The ultimate perfectionist. The reality is, I’ve had trauma of varying degrees sprinkled all throughout my life. From those traumas stemmed negative beliefs, self-sabotaging behaviors, and a wicked inner critic.

Anxiety? Oh yeah.

Perfectionism and imposter syndrome? To the max.

Beliefs about society and money that had stunted my ability to be able to gain success and financial freedom? You bet-chya!

Times of feeling horribly lost, stuck, stagnant, disconnected, uncertain, and depressed? You know it!
Most of the people who knew me had no idea I was going through any of this, since I was obsessed with always making it seem like my life was perfectly fine! I was also:

An absolute people pleaser who would never defend myself because I was terrified of upsetting anyone
-
Having complete lack of boundaries in almost any regard
-
Using alcohol to numb myself out of situations
-
Staying in toxic relationships for way longer than I should have
The idea of facing myself was scary.
As if I’d unlock the box and everything in it would erupt and devour me; like I’d have to live in constant emotional anguish, or others would see me as weak. All I’d ever known was how to beat down and cover up anything I thought was ‘WRONG’ with me, allowing my inner critic to grow ever more powerful.
The turning point: understanding myself instead of trying to fix myself.
This is when everything started to shift. I stopped looking for ways to change my life from the outside, and started looking inward - at my patterns, my emotions, and the beliefs I had been operating from.
I began to understand how my mind and nervous system were shaping the way I showed up, and why I kept repeating the same patterns. Instead of pushing past how I felt, I learned how to actually be with it, process it, and listen to it.
That’s when things changed. I stopped abandoning myself, started trusting myself, and began making choices that actually felt right for me.
The reality is, when I started to dissect the beliefs I had created, most of them were based on fears—not facts. By facing these beliefs one at a time, I’ve allowed my mind and body to actually finish processing the emotions tied to them. This means that they can finally be released, instead of being harbored in my body, patiently waiting just under the surface for the right trigger—like a serpent coiled in the shadows, waiting to strike at the perfect moment to sabotage my efforts.
I’m not perfect now!
This is an ongoing process, but I’ve experienced a level of emotional freedom I didn’t think was possible. My life feels completely different—not because I became someone new, but because I’m finally living in a way that feels true to me. I trust myself, and I make choices that actually reflect who I am.
I’m not here to dazzle you with fancy words or promise that I can help you manifest your perfect dream life or become your ‘highest self’—heck, I’m not there yet, and I doubt anyone claiming they are, actually is. When you choose to work with me, you’re choosing to work with someone who’s gone through that inner struggle of processing uncomfortable things and turning them into growth; someone grounded and here to share the knowledge she’s gained to help you on your path to emotional freedom.
